I am on an AS400 and want to provide an interface between JDE and a third party product. I don't want to use an expensive tool like XPI/Web Methods. I want to be able to write data to a flat file and have this picked up by the third party product for updating to its' data base. If I write to a flat file what polling options on the flat file do I have to trigger the calling of the third party product. Also, if I run this on the AS400 where and in what format does the flat file go to and how do I copy this out to a location on the WAN.
