customize standard objects

Hello All
I am aware that its best practise to not customize any standard objects directly but to copy the same and work on them. At the same time trying to have a copy of P4210 or P4310, for example, poses other issues as checking wherever the program id has been hard coded and changing them to reflect the copied name. I have gone through the threads posted on this subject. What I would like to have is a list of potential JDE objects that are of this nature where the program id is hardcoded or any other catch that makes the copy job more tedious.

Thanks

There is a very nice article on jdetips.com that discusses copying
versus modifying base. It has some good pointers and guidelines for
deciding which to do.

I doubt you'll ever come up with the list you're seeking. Figure on moding just about all JDE standard objects (that your requirements define as objects that need to be changed to complete your project). Just be sure to document your changes (inside and outside the modified object). In rare cases does it make sense to copy the app. Also, see the "modified standard objects" post on this forum.
