Item Number Definition - A blank character in Item Number ?

Hi All,

In JDE OneWorld, if Item Number contains a blank character, such as "abc
123", will this kind of Item Number negatively affect the system?

My previous company use JDE World and went live 5 years ago. Some Item
Numbers in the system also contain a blank character. But so far, no
problem.

Any advice?

Hi David

One of my clients has been using One world since 1998 and most of their item numbers (that is second item number LITM) have spaces in them. They have never ever encountered an issue with this.
