XE and 8.9 client on the same FAT workstation

Hi JDEList,

If I have a FAT XE client on the workstation and I "save" this by SnapShot, then:

1.) Can I succesfully install an 8.9 FAT client onto the same machine?
2.) Can I "Save/Restore" XE and 8.9 client with SnapShot to switch between this two FAT client?
3.) What do I take care to solve this issue successfully?

I was able to get this working but you had to make sure to save the snap to a folder name other than the default (e.g. instead of \B7 snapped to \B7, you must snap \B7 to \B7SNAP (or something) and \B9 to \B9Snap). This prevents the \B7\System\Bin32 and \B9\System\Bin32 path statements from getting in the way.

Of course, I will save to folders with different names then the default.

I can save originally installed B7 with SnapShot, shipped by B7.
Later, I can save B9, using SnapShot shipped by B9.

Can I restore B7 with SnapShot, shipped with B9?

I used the B9 snapshot.exe for toggling between XE and B9 with success.

I used XE snapshot to switch between XE and B9 and it works.
