Upgrade from Xe to ???

Your upgrade effort from an objects perspective will depend upon what objects you have modified that you wish bring over into the new release (if you flag it..it will come). If you have custom BSFNs (55), you can run codechangecom.exe to convert them to unicode (see the doc for this) otherwise any mods to existing JDE BSFNs will be overwritten and will have to be retrofitted. Generally speaking all your 55-59 objects regardless of type will come into the new release without much more effort than the spec merge. However, plan on retrofitting any mods to existing JDE objects post upgrade.
We also opted to not go unicode with the data seems to function ok in this config and we know we can alway run the conversion if need be someday or if required.

When you say:

"...We also opted to not go unicode with the data seems to function ok in this config and we know we can alway run the conversion if need be someday or if required. "

Just to clarify, are you saying you didn't do the optional business data conversion to unicode? If so, the "... seems to function ok in this config.." refers to EnterpriseOne?

Thanks in advance,

Yes. That is correct.
