Beginning research into options for replicating data to another server so users can run inquiry reports against current (-24 hours old) data without affecting our Enterprise server processing. Our Enterprise server is an AS400. The other server can't be an AS400, due to cost.
What are some scenerios that are currently in use? Looking for ideas and configurations that work well. Recommendations for replication software would also be appreciated.
