Transportation Set up

I always get error in the routing option (after Sales order entry, work with shipment). The error code is 089T, 089V - saying that the rate has not been set up correctly, no value in the lookup, etc.
Can you help me what I am missing here?

At the risk of turning this into a Transportation training session, every
Route needs a Rate - this association is made via the Rate Schedule
specified on your Routing Entries. The Rate Schedule on your Routing
Entries has Rate definitions and Rates that have not been setup completely.
How you set these up will depend upon what you are trying to achieve (it
can get quite complex).

Work through your manual/on-line help on setting up Rate Definitions, Rate
Schedules and Rates as your starting point for setting this up.

If you have multiple rate schedules the look up type 1 needs to be the same
in each one
