Purge and Archive

Hi Guys,
I am looking for ways to Purge and archive financial, manufacturing
and distribution modules. There do exist UBEs and programs that do that in
each module but some do not have the option of archive. Has anyone tried
coming up with a process? Any advice will be helpful. I looked up KG but it
was not much help. Also I believe if I am correct, they are updating or
giving a new look to KG, which basically has screwed the documents and
search options.
I would appreciate any help in this regard.

We have done archiving of WO's, SO's, PO's, and Cardex transactions thus far, and I'd be glad to send you some additional details on what we've done in these areas if it's a match for you. In addition, I'd suggest you search the JDEList site for "archive" or "purge" posts.

For Work Orders use R4801P which does archive the records from F3111, F3112, F4801 and F31122. For details see my attachment. This is an old White Paper.
