We are a seafood processor and are moving into our first busy season using JDE. We use SO, Manufacturing, Inventory, Freight, etc. We have plants in Alaska and Washington that in combination run very close to 24/7. So we’re being pushed to have the system available as close 24 hours a day as possible. Outside of the backup issues that the “techies” are working on, I’ve been tasked with finding out how others handle programs that are supposed to have a dedicated system, such as Sales Repost R42995 and others.
How are you getting around the need have the system available and yet running programs like this? And, what other programs should I have on my list to investigate?
