PAYROLL DBA CALC

Our HR department has agreed to implement a deduction for union dues which will be the value of each employee's hourly rate. Unfortunately, JDE vanilla does not have a method of calculation to accommodate that logic so custom mods to various programs will have to be made. Has anyone out there incorporated similar deductions to the payroll system?

I appreciate any advice you have to share.

We had a similar request and were able to accommodate by changing the =
method
of calculation on the DBA as a percentage of base pay with a maximum =
limit
set. =20

Janet,

It has been along time since I have worked in WORLD and I do not have access to a WORLD system. In similar situations, I have used the table method of HP. That table method is available in OneWord, but I cannot remember if available in WORLD. If it is give it a try. The lower and upper ranges uses Inception to date hours (my client did not care about so we made 0 to 99999999.99) and uses the hourly rate on the EE master times a table amount.

Check to see if the table method of HP is available. If not you can disregard my post.
