Interactive app\'s and queue\'s

I've been told by ourCNC that an interactive application can be run on a particular job queue. Now I've been developing for many years and this new, new;s to me. Does anyone have an anwser.

Hmmm

I hope your CNC isn't from a consultancy....

Now, there are some Business Functions and Subsystem Processes that can obviously run in the background and subsystems can therefore run on a specific queue - but as for Interactive processes themselves running on a Batch Queue - the CNC guy has obviously been reading too much SAP documentation......
