Restrict any users to match selected receipts

Is there any way to restrict any users to match selected receipts, because these are very old receipts and settled thru journal entries. So need to make sure that no users in future will do matching.

If nothing exist, I will customize the form P4314|W4314B Select Receipts to Match. I will keep the selected OVs in a tag table and hide these line in the said form. It will fulfill my requirement. But I always stay away from customizing standard objects.

    Rauf,

Have you tried using security? Probably row security.
    Thanks, Peter

    Hi Peter,

I guess, in row security the receipt ids should be in sequence ( we are using exclusive security).

And I have noted one more thing.
If I have to use the row security, the table F43121- Purchase Order Receiver file have multiple columns as primary key. So it will be a nightmare to use in the context of exclusive security. My guess is true or .. ?

Is this a "set the MATC flag in F43121 to a "5" thing"??

That will flag the PO receipts as non-matching and will not show those receipts available to match.

    Great Mike. Great.

I was looking for this, but for the MATC I see values from 1 to 4.

I think there is some documentation on the Oracle knowledge garden that actually recommends using this method (MATC = '5')
