Hello there
I am going to replace my windows 7 VM client with windows 10 VM client.
Windows 10 is not supported with our TR and Application release. Is it safe to do that?

Hi AD, at my prior gig, I used Win10 based fat client for E1 9.1 apps on TR 9.1.3.2 and 9.1.4.2 with no problems. Here I'm also using Win 10 for E1 9.1 apps on TR 9.2.2.5 - good luck!

Interesting. Did you run a full web dev client including local OC4J (OAS)? We are on TR9.1.5.1 (apps 9.0) using OC4J and it was my understanding that a full JDE Web Dev client simply would not run on Win10 for our TR release, namely OC4J. I believe our CNC staff run a full client on Win10 but they couldn't get OC4J to run correctly but since their work doesn't require it, it wasn't an issue. Obviously for developers it would be an issue.

Hi Brian,
Yes, at my prior employer, my recollection is that we did use web dev client with OC4J on TR 9.1.4.2 (apps 9.1). I don't recall what magic it required unfortunately. If I get a chance, I'll reach out to colleagues still working there.
