Subject Lines in List Mailings

Is everyone else getting this stuff at the end of the subject lines of their
JDE List mailings lately:

~~2071:2089

????


It's a real pain because I view my messages threaded and these extra
characters (which, I assume, are some internal message number keys or
something) completely mess that up.

At the bottom of every post there is a link that accesses the JDEList Forum
that will allow you to view the entire thread of the message. Another
alternative is to use the Forum instead of the mailing list for your
correspondence since the Forum is integrated with the mailing lists.

I noticed the link at the bottom too but that sort of defeats the purpose of
having the discussion threaded in my e-mail program. My interest is more in
finding out whether or not these extra characters are actually necessary in
the subject field of every e-mail. They didn't used to be there and I'm
subscribed to *many* other mailing lists which don't require anything like
what I'm seeing here.

I will e-mail the administrator of this list in hopes of getting the answer.

Dear Cory,
Allow me to introduce Eric Kempter, the moderator (administrator included) of these Lists/Forums.
I would take his advice and use the Forum instead.
The threads are (almost) all, there. The "almost" is caused by the different email clients (much too many in my oppinion) the subscribers are using.
