JAS Server Install (Xe)

Dear List,

Web Server Install (B733.3 Xe)
IIS 4.0
NT4 SP6
WebSphere 3.02 Advanced
IE 4.01
JT400.jar JDBC Driver (AS/400 Enterprise Server)

Just configured WebSphere and this starts up no problems, all of the logs
are clean.
The following addresses return a display: http://websvr1/jde/owjava and
http://websvr1/jde/saw. However, the following address gives me the HTTP
404 Error : http://websvr1/jde/owhtml. (When I try to browse this page from
within IIS it complains that it cannot find \Servlet\html.login)

Any ideas??, I'd like to resolve this issue before I continue with the
Generation of the Serialized Objects.

Kind Regards
Mathew Griffin

Mathew :

It seems to be a problem related to the default document on IIS.
There's a tab on the properties sheet of JDE virtual directory where you
specify
what are your default documents (default.htm,index.htm,etc)

Also, ensure that the 'Default Web Site' is stopped in IIS - otherwise it
may try to resolve your URL and will not know about the OW servlets.

Did you add the index.html to the new IIS defined web server versus the
Default http?

Default Web Site is stopped and Index.html is in the Documents tab of the
JDE Virtual Directory.
