Question Data Selection lockdown on left operand and comparison

    Hi,
I already know that in a typical situation this is not possible in JDE to just lock down those and give user the option to just enter value.
For example DOCO is equalto 123456, here the user only can enter the value.
But did anyone was able to lock down left operand and comparison but not the right operand?
    Thanks in advance..
    regards.

use a processing option, set user selection in the INIT of the report.

That's an alternative but not a good solution for standard UBE without modification.

    Hello Abir,

I think you should try with Data Selection Security. If you need more info, please let me know.

    Hello,

Single value data selection in equal to operand will be done by Processing option only. You have to use the set user selection system function in the initialize section.
