Jde xml callobject

Hi,
Is it possible to call business functions from the standalone demo as I keep getting the following error.

<?xml version='1.0'?>
<jdeResponse>
<returnCode code='16'>jdeXMLResponse receive failed</returnCode>
</jdeResponse>

I don't think you can make xml callobject calls with demo. It only works with a real ES server as far as I know.
