Configured Item and Sales Order Entry

Dear List,

When we enter a configured item (Stocking Type C) on sales order, only the configured item is listed, not all the components. Has anyone encountered this?
Is there a flag somewhere to turn this off and on?
We are on E1 9.1.5.2
