FDA - Set Grid Sequencing on the Non Business View Column

Hello JDE Techies,
Is there a way to set the sequencing of the grid based on a non business view column. Has any one faced with this issue before. Any help is appreciated.

In general, no.

The exception would be to write custom code that handles data retrieval and re-sequences the data manually - either through in memory sorting or work table. And, no - that is not a easy task to accomplish.

If however the column can be added to the business view (in one of the tables comprising the BSVW) then the problem is easily solved.
