Where does the tools release in \"Help, About JDE\" come from?

We upgraded to tools 9.1.3.1 last week.
This has been verified by looking at the PTF.log

On our full clients, "Help, About JDE" states tools release as "9".

Where is this getting the "9" from?

Please AND Thanks

On your full client, look at the ptf.log file in your installed directory structure (e.g. in C:\E900\system\bin32). This should be the tools release of the full client.

Don,

Yes, the PTF.log correctly shows current tools release.
I'm trying to understand why "Help, About JDE" doesn't.
(It did so prior to the tools upgrade.)

Thanks

I just upgraded from TR 9.1.0.2 to 9.1.3.3, and I found that on the Deployment server, the TR shows as just "9", but on a full client, it shows as "9.1.3.3". So it appears to be something on the deployment server that's changing how this appears.

Very interesting. We have our full clients on virtual machines, and it shows as "9".

It's NOT an issue, I was just curious.

Thanks!
