I have noticed if you get a java.outofmemory exception in a BSSV instance running OAS the business services dont work till the container is restarted.
You need to check how frequently your container gets this error and decide if a restart is required to prevent this error from occuring. Example one of my customers has 20 BSSV integrations that get called every 5 seconds. We have noticed the BSSV server will crash after 48 hours hence we restart just the BSSV container everyday using a scheduler program during off working hours. This has ensured a good uptime for all their critical integrations.
Note you need not restart the Oracle services, just the container that has BSSV installed.
