Cannot export Grid from some Forms

Hi,

I seem to be unable top export the grid from some forms to excel from a web client.
I run E900 with 8.98.4.7 tools. We tried different browsers, always the same. Somehow excel cannot understand the data it receives.
This happens only for some apps, for example P03B2002. Other apps like P01012 export without problems. I suspect it has to do with the form-type.

Has anybody seen this ?

I ran into this recently.
There are some Grids that are not set to export. These have to be activated in OMW. Only the grid data can be exported, not everything on the form. Only IE will export to excel, other browsers require the use of CSV if they work at all.

I also had an issue with the browser not exporting. Closing the browser and restarting IE9 solved the export problem.

I have also had to re-install the activeX controls for some users when the registry gets corrupted. I corrected this by deleting the controls in the IE browser files, closing the browser and starting everything again.

Remember that Oracle only 'supports' the export capability with IE.

I already resolved it. But you are correct, it had to do with IE, active-X.
