What kind of '400 are you running? We have a S20, with 2gig ram and 112gig HD,
and we can have a full package built usually within 24 hours and a four-way
processor. We put one service pack on that changed the maxnumberofprocess and
simultaneous builds which we had to reset. Also we had to tweak our '400 batch
queue to allow multiprocessor builds.
Another thing to look at is logging. If logging is on, it will take more time.
