Hello, list! I ran R98700 against 70+ objects to merge specs on all objects changed since Fall; all were successfully added. Successfully built and deployed an update package to the upgraded environment. But we have found that any new versions are simply not appearing.

What have I missed?

Have you queried the F983051 table to see if your version records exist
and have values in the vrmkey and vrenhv fields?

Re: RE: R98700 fails to bring over all versions

ok, yes. I can see in PD7333DNT/F983051 that the versions I want are listed there.

They are not, however, listed in DV7333DNT/F983051, which is the "environment" I'm upgrading.

Is there a way to sync the two without checking every single version object into the source environment?

Re: RE: R98700 fails to bring over all versions

Hi,

I suggest you to copy the whole PD7333 to DV7333 (objects,
data and versions) before upgrading.
This way, you'll know in advance what kind of problems
you'll on the Go-live.

Re: RE: R98700 fails to bring over all versions

Thank you for writing, Sebastian. I did originally copy PD7333 to DV7333, but that was months ago.

Since I need only to refresh my versions list, can that be done by copying the F983051 from library PD7333DNT?

Contents of PD7333DNT library:
<ul type="square"> [*]OEXPLORVJA [*]F98BLOB [*]F98BLOB_1 [*]F983051 [*]F983051_1 [*]F983051_2 [/list]

Hi,

If I were you, I would copy the whole pathcode again,
not just F983051.
Anyway, if you just want to copy F983051, check the
VRENHV field.
