Citrix farm Setup

Hi list,

I need to add a new Citrix Server in the existing farm of 4 servers. When I tried to Install the new server without adding the Licenses to that server it corrupted my IMA data store on the farm controller. If anyone has faced such errors please let me know how to resolve .....
We are on Citrix Metaframe XPe

Hello, Gary. I just implemented Metaframe XPe (1.0) in my environment, too. I didn't have any trouble adding servers to the farm, though.

With Metaframe XP, Citrix changed licensing so that you don't have to install licenses on each server; you just point to the server that holds the licensing database.

To add each terminal server to the new farm, I just installed XPe from the CD and, during the installation process, pointed to the first server which happens to be holding the IMA database (MSAccess mode).

I'm willing to help if you can provide more details. Otherwise, you might be able to get help from the vendor who sold you the Citrix licenses or by posting a detailed message at support.citrix.com.
