Gents,
We are using 8.10; we did a lot of development and workflow to make every thing automated.
Through any cycle, the user could get a message even from:
a-Workflow process.
b-Or from within a report, business function, or application using “send message” function.
After we finished, we have got a new requirement that in any process the user should get a notification on his work center and on the same time an email to his outlook.
On the work center setup, if you set the mail preferences for any user to “JDEM Messaging” he will get a message only on his work center (even its workflow, or send message).
But if you set it to “outlook” he will send an email to his outlook (workflow, or send message), and on his work center only if it’s a workflow message and NOT for send message.
So we need to make the “send message” function on that case send also a message to his work center.
And we did a heavy development using “send message” that it may take months for us to retransforming to a workflow processes.
Any body has a trick to make it possible without redoing development ???
