Hi all,
hope there are some CNC gurus out there who can help us!
I think we have a problem with the F986113 table (subsystem job master) in that sometimes the SY811 library is used instead of the server map library SVM811. For example records have been inserted into SY811 from the 'END Subsystem' row exit in 'Work with Subsystem Jobs' screen P986113 from our dev client machines. BUT sometimes it does work and records are correctly inserted into SVM811 and the subsystem UBE is ended ok.
Note there are 2 standard OCM mappings for F986113(ie. come as delivered and have not been changed by us) for our iseries E/S
i) "System - 811" datasource: DV811 F986113 TBLE System - 811 *PUBLIC AV
ii) "811 Server Map" datasource: DV811 F986113 TBLE System - 811 *PUBLIC AV
There are several questions here:
Q1) Why does F986113 exist in 2 different table in 811 (and in Xe where it exists in both XTASEC and SVM7333)?
Q2) Why does standard install have 2 OCM mappings both pointing to the the system datasource (ie. SY811)?
Q3) This does work sometimes in that about 70% of the time the SVM811/f986113 table is correctly used - but how?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
