Unique Key Error on OMW Log header table(F98210)

I am trying to delete a version from PY environment and I am getting the error message "General error in Method, Error". I examined my jde.log file and figured out that there is Unique Key violation on table F98210(OMW log header).
I have also spoken with JDEdwards support they say that I should go to the backend and delete the records from F98210 table which I do not think is the right way to do it.
I am experiencing this problem 3rd time in last 1 month. Has anybody seen this problem before?
Any suggestions are most welcome.

One more observation, this problem only happens if I try to delete the version. If I log on as user who has created the version, then I am able to delete the version. Also this in only happening for Interactive versions.
