Hi all,

The file name generated when I run a UBE on the server (HP) in our case doesn't have an extension e.g. R0010P_XJDE0001_3108_PDF

Is there a way to add the extension .pdf ?

TIA

Hello Tia,
For your problem try to add the path "\\Program files\Adobe\Acrobat
4.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe" in the jde.ini on the workstation.
If it doesn't work try to re-install Acrobate Reader onto the workstation.
I'm not speaking english very well, excuse me.

Adam,
I don´t think it will be possible to make OW create the UBE output with a
different name on your Unix server. However, the moment you visualize the
PDF on your client station there will be a copy of that file with a .pdf
extension in your local PrintQueue directory: e.g.
R0010P_XJDE0001_3108.PDF
Hope this helped, Gerd

Thanks for the replies. We may try to resolve our issue another way.

regards

Adam
