Mediaobj - Web

Hi,

we have just implemented the web solution. When you attach a file (word or excel) the upload works and you can open this file via a thin/fat client. Unfortunately it is not possible to open this file via a web client. It looks like the stg file can not be opened. I have checked if it is a permission problem ... without success.
Does anyone has got an idea how to fix this ?

IF you're getting garbled files AND you're using IIS then the problem may be with the file servlet. Disabling this stops IIS trying to interpret the file (and failing unless you have MS Office on the Web server) and gets it to hand the file over to the client to deal with. There's some stuff on Knowledge Garden but it's release and config specific.
