RE: BUSBUILD Errors and Pristine Philosophy

Gerald :

There are several different opinions on what to do (and don't do) on
Pristine.
As a matter of fact, I'd asked to JDE employees on what does Pristine
stand for. I'd received the most diverse opinions, ranging from 'just
install and don't ever touch it' to 'do whatever you like but don't put
any custom code'.
I think of Pristine as a pure JDEdwards pathcode plus some JDE's extra
data (the bike factory).
I do install ESUs and Xe Updates in Pristine because this environment
holds code done by JDE guys, the same ones that develop ESUs and Updates.
What I don't do in Pristine is : alter its data, use other language
than English and transfer any custom code of mine into it.
Of course, that's my opinion and realize that there's a diversity of
ideas on what should be done with this peculiar environment.
