No IB record created when "Last in" cost method changed

No IB record created when \"Last in\" cost method changed

Hello List,

I have a scenario where Sales/Inventory cost method is set to 1 =3D Last =
in. When I craete a purchase order and receive it, the Cost in F4105 is =
updated to cost from PO, but no IB rcords are create in the Cardex to =
revalue inventory.

When I manually update the cost in the F4105 for last in, an IB record =
is written to the Cardex to revalue inventory.

The question I have is that why would an IB entry be written to the =
Cardex when the Lastin cost in manually updated, but not when last in =
cost is automaically iupdated through the PO receipts program ? =
According to the Knowledge Garden, an IB record should be written in =
both scenarios. I have replicated the problem on Standalone (DEMO Jnr) =
as well.
