A/P Check Printing Problems

Has anyone encountered problems printing A/P checks in OneWorld? Sometimes
on high volume processing, our check runs crash and we get garbage
characters that print on the checks. Problem is irregular. We don't know
if the problem is OneWorld (B7333), our printer, or mainframe. What did you
do to fix the problem? Thank you.

I worked at a client that had the same issue.. they would get "Chinese"
characters... they were using an HP printer and it turned out to be the
printer... not enough memory and there was a special card that they
needed... thanks, Bobby

We encountered a lot of problems in that area. This was all related to the use of citrix and HP printers. You have to be careful about the print drivers that get onto the citrix box. We ultimately change over to IBM Info Print printers and they performed much better.

We use a network printer 17 from IBM (4317) and on average once a week print about 600 checks for AP. The only problem we routinely get is a paper jam.

Bobby, could you give more infor on the amount of memory and type of card? I occasionally have this problem with high volume check runs, but had thought that we had identified the problem as an occasional faulty vendor AB entry. Perhaps I need to rethink and re-explore the issue?
