Reorgs and rebuilds

Hi everyone

I've been asked to investigate some of our issues with performance and disk
space and noticed some of our larger files have huge LFs.

I was wondering how often people Reorg their JDE tables and which commonly
used files you reorg and how often? Also do you set the REUSEDLT to yes for
all your files or just some?

We're using an AS400 but I guess these questions applies to anyone who
rebuilds their indexes etc to improve performance and disk space.

I had a look on the KG for any recommendations from JDE on this, but
couldn't find any.

We mainly use Financials, Job Cost, Purchasing and Fixed Assets

Hi, Did you get anywhere with this? We have a scheduled CL program that shuts down onelworld, reorgs all JDE file and restarts oneworld once a month.
I can forward it if you like but it will have to be tailored to suit your own system.

reorging files but I'd be keen to see what files, other sites reorg.
