Handling Objects in different OW versions with OMW

PLEASE! HELP!
XE issue.
There is a sub-section "Maintaning Objects in Multiple Software Release" under Object Management Workbench section in the Development Tools documentation.
It could be very useful for us and could save a lot of time for us but we are beginner in XE.
Has anybody any experience with this feature?
Where can I learn/read more about this (e.g. how to setup OMW and OneWorld to use this feature, etc.)
PLEASE! HELP! It is very URGENT for us!
I will be very-very thankful for any shared information.

An additional question:
Can I use this feature to move objects of an add-on development from an earlier release of OneWorld (e.g. B7331) into XE (or into an other e.g. B7332)?

I've only played with OMW a little, but it is my understanding that this feature will not assist you in moving objects between releases. You still need an upgrade for that (spec merges and all that fun stuff).
