Existence of a flat file

Hello all,

I am required to check for the Existence of a flat file. I have attempted to
use the 'Delete or Copy flat file' business function to this effect. This BF
has a 'Suppress Errors' and 'Error Code' as part of their parameter
list(data structure). This did not work for me. Even though there was an
error, no error code was returned from the business function.
Any ideas will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Shaf

Shaf,
Try to use one executable functionality of your operating system which can detect it and return the information.
You can call it using Run Executable system function (General category) in the event rules.

Thanks Zoltan,

Can you explain what you mean by 'one executable functionality of your
operating system'.
Our operating system is NT.

Thanks again

Shaf
