UBE through scheduler not selecting data

We are Running R42800 Sales Order Update throught the JDE scheduler. It was working just fine but now all of the sudden it won't select any data. We can submit the same version from a client and it works just fine. We tried pushing the version specs back out to the server but it didn't help.

Has anyone seen this before?
How do I fix it?

Thanks

Submit the job again from the client, setting the dataselection on the exit
bar and then choose 'submit version specs only' on the advanced tab. You
should also secure this version from users submitting it from the client to
stop it happening again.

Doborah,

First I guess I should say that you should create specific secured versions for you scheduler jobs....because the scheduler is pretty dumb if you are submiting the same versions you users are running them when the sheduler runs it will use the last set of specs that were submitted.

We've had thes issue in the past and once we created seperate scheduler versions with security 2 the issue went away.

Hi Deborah,

I've seen something like this where you create a UBE version with certain
processing options and selection criteria and when you schedule it, it runs
just fine. Then someone goes and runs the version from their machine and
changes the Selection criteria for a one-time run but the server keeps
those changes (for some reason - still haven't figured that one out) and
the next time the scheduled job runs it runs using the modified parameters.

Are you using the same version in scheduler that the users are using? If
so, then try creating a separate Scheduler-Only version and see if that
helps.

Regards,
Gerald.

Thanks Cleola,
But, we only run this UBE through scheduler. Users do not have access to it. We even resubmitted the specs to the server and it still broke.

Hi,

Check if there is any change in PO.
Build update package and deploy on ES
taking report, version and DSTR

Thanks

Deborah,

When you say "resubmitted the specs", do you mean re-deployed the full package to the server? If not, you might want to try this and see if this makes a difference. Be aware that deploying the server package will stop any batch processing while deployment occurs, so pick a time of low batch job activity. For our server deployment, it usually takes about 10 minutes, but don't know about your environment. Good luck!

Don,
No I didn't resubmit the server package I just used OW to submitted the UBE version Version Specs Only using the Advance function when submitting. We are doing a full build this weekend so maybe that will solve our problem too.

One other thing to check, make sure the datasources are configured correctly in your server map.
