No, this is not the monthly survey. I'll leave it for Jon.

Out of curiosity, I would like to ask a few questions.

1. When unchecked in versions are lost, do you clean (delete) the versions from the relevant tables (F983051 etc.)?

2. Do you let your normal users access to OMW? If so, why?

3. Have you wonder ran the following central objects integrity reports:

R99F98710
R99F98720
R99F98751
R99F98761
R99F98762

Thanks.

1. Yes, every so often, usually after a few months go by.
2. No, not after we go live.
3. No, not yet.

Catherine,

1. We typically do not get lost versions because we don't let users create/modify versions

2. Users do not get OMW access (too confusing/dangerous)

3. Have not run them.

Response:

1. We would like to but do not know the files to look at
2. They don't know what OMW is, nor do they have fast path. But we do allow them to change/modify versions through BV
3. What reports? Guess I'll look at them today.

1. We haven't yet...is there a UBE for that?
2. No
3. No...guess I'll check them out though.

1. Yes - Not so much after we went live.
2. NO - NO - NO - NO
3. No - looked at the tables in UTB. What would be the benift of running
these reports?

Response:

Sometimes: Have been able to limit it from happening by not making DEV package mandatory

NO Way

Have not Ran them yet, will take a look thouhg

We have custom financial reports with different versions overrides on them. We cannot restrict users from creating versions like Larry. There is no UBE that I know of that will clean up lost versions.

There has been a request to let the users use OMW to check in their versions. The argument is that the versions are in one centralized location (OMW) vs. going through batch versions.
