AS400 - Library Security

Just curious, is there any requirement with JDE OneWorld XE to have
*PUBLIC authority set to *CHANGE for any libraries? Most of the
libraries on our system are currently set this way and I would like to
secure them if possible. I would like to give JDE and OneWorld *CHANGE
authority and set *PUBLIC to *EXCLUDE. Do you see any problem with that
strategy?

I think the only real restriction is to make sure your sign-on security server alias has authority. If that's JDE then that's fine. If not, then add that user profile to your list.
