hi everyone,
i've discovered that the doc no. for OV transactions have skipped mysteriously. i've double checked with next numbering and found that the check digit = N and there is no auto-reset.
RL has the slightest clue as to what is the cause of this happening. i've highlighted to them that:
(1) this is not udc doc type, hence it;s impossible for us to amend the check digit or the next numbering itself
(2) no users are allowed to access this screen other than IT staff. hence, there is no need for us to change the next numbering
(3) we don;t use contract management program either
there is a possibility that the system hanged and hence the numbering may have skipped. but the gap range is kind of big - above 100.
