Interfund Issues to clinics (P4210)

Hi List,

Is anyone having a problem when performing an interfund issue to clinic (P4210) the Detail record P4211 is created but the Header record P4201 is not. Also any suggestion on how to create the P4201 would be appreciated.

We occasionally see this problem when a user experiences a "Threaded
Business Function" error as the order is being saved. When this happens,
some of the detail lines (F4211)are saved; however, (because the program
must process all detail line before it can write the header record) the
order will not have a header (F4201). The order entry screen can be used to
attach a header record to these detail lines. You can ADD a new sales order
and override the sales order number with the number assigned to the loose
detail lines. Once in the detail revisions screen you'll need to OK the
order without entering any items. This will save the header record. You'll
then be able to inquire on the order and correct any missing detail lines.
After the complete order is entered you can run the open sales orders repost
program to correct the open amount value on the sales order header record
and in A/R open orders.

Walt thanks for the procedure to add the headers. I was able to add them but when I went to receive the orders I got an error 'Invalid Record'.
Did you have this problem and should I have run the open sales order repost program first?

I've never had a problem processing regular sales orders after creating the
header record. You will see this error on a sales transfer order when the
purchase order number isn't over ridden. On a sales transfer you must
override both sales order and purchase order number fields to the values
assigned originally. Are you using related order process like sales
transfer, ST/OT, or intercompany, SK/OK, where you have a sales order /
purchase order relationship? If this is the case I apologize for not
drawing a link between your term "Interfund" and JDE term "Intercompany".
The only way to correct this link is the SQL the database files. (We did
the same on the first sales transfer with a missing header record.)
