SP19

Has anyone been daring enough to install SP19 yet? I am going to be
installing it into our sandbox systems (isolated machines/isolated
network)..So far, I have seen much on it, either on here or in the KG.

i installed sp19 in my lab environment and had problems installing update 5.
i had to go back to sp18 to successfully install update 5...

i found out that sp19 is XeV2 foundation.

What do you mean by X3V2 foundation?

I am pretty sure that the comment about the X2V2 is pertaining the XE,
version 2 which is coming out soon. JDE was touting it for awhile on the
knowledge garden, and then all the information was yanked. From what my
manager hears, Version 2 will not be GA until late July or so...

XeV2 is the new remaster for B7333 (Xe) due for
general release sometime in July.

Did JDE tell you that SP19 is for XeV2? Was that on the JDE Support Line?
Because we ordered SP19 today and we are Xe...

That may or may not be a really bad thing. What they are referring to is that it is based upon the B7333v2 mastering of OneWorld. However in theory these should be applicable to any b733x release. JDE will support the newer service packs on the older releases however you will most likely see some strange effects. We attempted to put down sp 13.1 (b7333 base) on our B7332 installation and had to roll it back to sp 11.1 (b7332 base) because of some strange problems. It will work and JDE will support it, however you should expect some difficulties that those who have the designed for release version would not experience.

I checked and the information re: XE V2 and Sp19 is false, version2 for
XE has not been released yet.

XE SP16.1 SQL2000 NT2000

when i initially installed sp19 on my 400, i noticed that the system library
changed from b7333 to b7334. i called jde and was told that it was xev2
foundation. if i'm wrong, my apologies for the miscommunication.

We have just installed SP19. It's not just for xev2... perhaps xev2 will
come out with it, i'm not sure...

We'll be applying Update 5 next...
