OWexplorer problem

When I click on the OneWorld shortcut on the desktop of my Deployment Server, I enter the username/password, OneWorld goes through the process of logging in, but the screen never comes up. If I look in task manager, I can see the OWEXPLORER process running. When I have encountered this problem before, a reboot would fix it. I rebooted the deployment server, and this issue still persists. Any ideas?

Thanks,

No, it didn't have anything in it. We did discover the problem though. There is some sort of bug in the status bar. If I hit ALT+TAB, I could get to the OneWorld screen.

this is going to sound really stupid...and I only mention this because
users have had the same thing here. The problem is that the 'start' bar
is either set to a super-slim width and you cannot see the Owexplorer
icon minimized in the bar. When this occurs, can you see other programs
currently running in the bar? If not, I would bet that is your cause.
This cause me a bunch of head scratching myself until it just jumped
out at me..and since you said the alt-tab works, it just sounds too
familiar.

By bug, do you mean your appl was running minimized AND was NOT visible on the Taskbar?

I have seen something like this once, where the user preferences part of the JDEdwards registry was hosed up. Does it work with a different OW user id? If sol, you may want to go into regedit and delete the key-tree that has the username with the problem. This has fixed a problem like this for me once in the past.
