WTD, MTD, YTD Reporting???

Hello,

At Pfaltzgraff, we have a desire to do week-to-date, month-to-date, and
year-to-date reporting comparing this year to last year. Being a
transaction-based system, JD Edwards does not store historical data at this
level. We are considering using Cognos, the JDE/MicroStrategy product, or
creating a data warehouse ourselves (not likely). Has anyone else had these
requirements? If so, what solution(s) did you choose?

We use Cognos but only for some small stuff right now. I'm not sure if
we'll use it when we really start full data warehousing or not... will
depend upon how much data, requirements, cost, etc.
