How to tell

Well Known Member
Is there a way to tell 100% for sure which pathcodes Update 3 has been
installed to on the Deployment server (other than the ASU application
which is not 100%) as well as fat client workstations (this one is real
important).

I'm the 4th CNC to work on this and am not sure how to tell 100%.

Thank-You

XE, SP 17.1, Update 3, iseries 400, Windows 2000 SP 2 Deployment and
Citrix servers as well as Windows 2000 fat clients.

What about P98700 application. When we apply the ESU/ASU in XE. It makes the package with the same name. So put XU3 in the package name field, Environment in the environment field and click find. You will see all the spec merged by application of Update 3.
Hope this help

If you do not want to trust the JDE reports and apps, and who really does in this case, the only way that I have found if an ESU has been applied is to go out of OneWorld and look at the time stamp on the objects themselves. Then I compare with either a backup or another pathcode and see the changes.

Michael :

I think that the only reliable way will be to compare the time stamp
on .C and .H files, plus the time stamp fields on the Spec tables and
Object Librarian (F9860-F9861).
