Link Employee to Dispatch Group

Manufacturing Question:
We want to link Employees to Work Centers for Reporting purposes. There is no obvious way of doing it so we are using TAX in F0101 against the Employee's AB nbr and inserting the Work Center there (the Business Unit in F0101 is already used).
Will using the TAX ID mess anything up and has anyone out there used a different solution that might be better?

Mark,

If storing the data somewhere is your only concern, have you considered
using the P00191 Employee Labour Rates table and placing the employee
number in the code field and the workcentre in either the description or
general message fields. The other option I can think of would be to set up
a new 55 UDC code for storing the information.
