Self Service Applications

Does anyone have information on self service applications for World? What are they?
How do they work?
What are the software and hardware requirements?
etc...

Any help is greatly appreciated...

This was discussed at the MUG conference earlier this week.

I would contact your JDE Rep to find out more information.

I do not think they are totaly ready yet but it looked like they were close and also looked like something alot of people may be interested in.

If anyone took any better notes then I did I hope they would post something about it here.

Self Service=Web enabling World applications. JDE gave an example in yesterday's webcast, but they did not give any detail on how it works and what it is. They did say that you don't have to modify any of your exisying World applications.
 
JDE will sell and support a number of SS Apps based upon acquired rights to
use and sell Seagull JWalk -Technology with same look and feel as OneWorld
HTML client.

Online Order Processing was demoed at Kickoff and looked just like the
OneWorld client.

Standard functionality will be provided as well as a toolkit for bespoking.
