Dan,

There is no need to define ea=1 IN or IN=1 EA in the
standard table unless you sell items in IN's. Table
F41003 is used to get from the selling/purchasing UOM
to the item's primary unit of measure. You need to
change the volume/capacity information on the item UOM
to indicate the standard measure.

The dimensional information is used for pallet packing
and containerization and warehouse pick/put away
requests. You only need to set up conversions for
inches to feet, yards, meters, etc.

Mike,
Is this the only place in JDE to enter the dimensions of boxed units?
I must need technical assistance because I still get the UOM conversion unsucessful error message.
