Subleger report using FRW

To define a FRW report with subledgers as the column, I selected column data selection and include in the subledger value for that column.

In the section column I have defined data selection to select subledger type = A.

However, I get a blank report (although there should be values).

Did I miss out something?

Any suggestions is welcomed.

I would place the subledger type data selection on the section. I cannot determine from your post if you placed it on the section or the column.
Subledger values can be tricky. The field is alphnumeric and when address book numbers are used as subledgers they are automatically written with leading zeros. Thus, if you want a column to display the subledger data for address book number 1, the constant has to be entered 00000001, not 1. If you enter 1 as the constant, it is interpreted as a one followed by 7 spaces rather than seven zeros followed by 1.
Please let me know if this was the problem.
