They are using a technology called DCI Link to tie in the bar coding equipment with JDE on an AS/400 platform. Do any body know about this ?

Yes, I help implement DC Link from DSI in one company. It work fine, no major issues. It was used for inventory transactions and Superback flush.

Great product overall.
One thing to be aware of. The servers (before v4) are single threaded. That is to say that they only process one OneWorld transaction at a time. This can cause a bottle neck.
This is minor since you can relieve the bottle neck by adding another server.
